Mike: I should have known better than to send that Pimp My Ned email. It should have occurred to me that you would treat it like a blog entry, too, even though it was intended to be a private email.
Ned: when it comes to the blog, I have no filter.
Mike: I hope you apologized to the ladies who were with you on the Dine-Around for my mentioning the word “pimp” and their names in the same email.
Ned: Ahh, don't worry about it. We had a great time. We talked about you. We shut down the place.
Mike: You shut down the restaurant?
Ned: No, we shut down New York.
Mike: You can't shut down New York. New York is 'the city that never sleeps.'
Ned: Well, we did it. At some point New York said, “we can't keep up with you anymore, we're going to bed.”
Mike: I'm glad you had a good time.
Ned: So where are you now?
Mike: Home.
Ned: Why didn't you stay?
Mike: I wanted to read the blog from the perspective of not being there.
Ned: That's deep.
