Description of Duties:
Support the Family of Advanced Beyond-Line-of-Sight Terminals (FAB-T) Program by providing timely and effective analysis of the prime contractor’s monthly IMS deliverables. Assist the FAB-T Program Management Office (PMO) in managing cost, schedule, and performance execution by conducting schedule analysis and interacting with prime contractor and government IPT leads to identify and communicate programmatic schedule issues. Provide periodic scheduling support to other programs as a consulting subject matter expert.
Requirements for the Position:
•Bachelor’s degree and 10 years project management and schedule management experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
•Experience on DoD or AF acquisition programs, either supporting a government PMO or a DoD prime contractor, is highly desired.
•Familiarity with DoD acquisition program life cycle management system is highly desired.
•Working knowledge of IPT structures and related functional disciplines in a government PMO is desired.
•Must be proficient with using MS Office Suite; Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
•Experience with DoD prime contractor tasking and program reviews is desired. Required skills and abilities include MS Project, Critical Path Methodology and IMP/IMS.
•Experience in conducting schedule analyses.
•US Citizenship is required. Applicants selected will be subject to complete a Government investigation and must have an active Secret clearance.
•Must be available to travel as required; CONUS.

Forward Slope is seeking an experienced lead test engineer to manage test development of enterprise applications supporting the Fleet Numerical Meteorological and Oceanographic (METOC) Center (FNMOC) mission in Monterey, CA. FNMOC supports the Navy fleet by providing global forecast support for mission planning and execution by the U.S. Navy and Marines. This position requires candidates that have experience in designing, managing and conducting test plans, to include the following test phases: component integration testing, system testing, regression testing, system integration testing and user acceptance testing. Desired candidates will have significant experience in designing and developing test scenarios and test cases that are bi-directionally mapped to requirements. Highly desired candidates will have experience in managing test engineers in an agile environment which incorporate Geographical Information System (GIS) services in a METOC environment. In addition, the ideal candidate will have experience with meteorological and oceanographic weather data models, experience writing scripts in scripting languages (e.g. Python, Perl or Ruby) and have experience in working with software and systems engineers in a Test Driven Development environment. It is desired that candidates live in the Monterey, CA area. If applicable, some relocation expenses may be provided.
Required qualifications:
•Candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
• Candidates must have an active Secret clearance or be able to obtain one within 6 months.
• At least 5 years of experience developing and managing test plans .
• At least 3 years designing test plans in an agile development environment.
• At least 3 years working with system and software engineers to define/create tests.
• Excellent technical writing skills, communication skills, problem-solving and analytical skills, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Highly preferred qualifications:
•Degree in computer science, software/computer engineering, or related field
•Experience testing web applications and web services
•Experience using Test Driven Development (TDD)
•Experience developing tests for GIS systems, including map user interfaces
•Experience with METOC data, including: forecast models, text products, satellite imagery
•Experience with geographic information system (GIS) development or OGC standards
Highly Preferred Skills:
•Experience in testing SOA services / components
•Experience in testing REST and web services
•Experience writing scripts that exercise components or services to conduct tests

Description of Duties:
•Assists the ONR Future Naval Capability (FNC) Program Manager with the preparation of program documentation including Change Requests (CRs), reports, spreadsheets, budgets, and briefings.
•Conducts financial database searches and runs reports using ONR’s NAVRIS (Naval Research Information System) and Navy ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).
•Prepares or collects fiscal data on the program in response to inquiries and action items.
•Develops spend plans and updates plans based on inputs from ONR Program Officers and Principal Investigators.
•Assists with the preparation of FHP annual program budgets.
•Prepares spreadsheets to track the fiscal execution of the program against Command benchmarks.
•Responds to inquiries and resolves problems relating to financial management and/or acquisition issues.
•Provides input to RDT&E (Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation) Budget Item Justifications (R-2 Exhibits).
•Assists with execution of program funding by compiling proposal documentation including Human/Animal/rDNA use paperwork required to fund research efforts.
•Interfaces with ONR personnel and stakeholders in academia, industry, and government laboratories.
•Establishes and/or maintains necessary electronic and/or physical records and files.
Requirements for the Position:
•Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, or Accounting. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
•7 years relevant experience; 1 or more years experience running reports using NAVRIS, Navy ERP, or STARS and 3 years supporting Science & Technology programs (preferred) or 3 years supporting DoD acquisition programs.
•Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Knowledgeable on other MS office suite applications.
•US citizenship is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility for the required Government clearance (Secret).
