The Sales Engineer is responsible for providing current and prospective eDiscovery clients with end-to-end technical sales consulting support over the course of the customer lifecycle – employing the Technology Stack (software and hardware configuration) and Architecture Best Practices to expertly craft/scope eDiscovery solutions based on the needs of the client environment. As the technical liaison between our external clients and the our internal eDSM (eDiscovery Support Management), Project Management, Client Services, and Procurement Departments, the Sales Engineer is charged with fully understanding customer requirements, delivering customized technical solutions, creating thorough/standardized technical documentation, and executing timely communication to ensure the seamless delivery of client proposals and post-implementation documentation. The Sales Engineer will additionally serve as the facilitator to the Architecture Review Board, work in communion with the Client Services Department, and report directly to the Head of Sales and Marketing. The high-level IT architectures for United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) which IT support contractors must conform with. Create IT Roadmaps and Integrated Master Plans in accordance with the USSTRATCOM’s IT Strategic Plan. Conduct evaluations on the end results of IT projects or IT services provided by internal or external entities for their ability to meet stated project objectives. Provide recommendations in the prioritization of IT projects requiring engineering resources. Assist Government PM with developing Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE) and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates for engineering projects. Review technical solutions with regard to completeness, costs, schedules and performances as well as integration with current architecture and alignment with IT Roadmaps. Develop and present decision briefs concerning optimal courses of actions on how best to address problems requiring IT engineering resources. Research and present recommendations on how the command can best leverage emerging technologies to be incorporated in to IT Roadmaps.
