This position oversees the construction and programming for our Pavilion for the 2025 World Expo. Open to the public (closes 11/6).
Duties
- Oversees planning and execution for construction and operation of U.S. pavilions at International Expositions, also known as World’s Fairs.
- Briefs and advises senior Department officials up to and including the Under Secretary on participation strategies for upcoming Expos.
- Serves as the Department’s principal liaison on Expo-related matters with the Bureau of International Expositions, the interagency, the White House, the Department of Commerce, foreign governments, Congress, private organizations and corporations.
- Provides professional leadership, guidance, and oversight to the Unit’s staff.
