Expectations

  • Develop the communications and marketing strategy for our consulting services organization that focuses on exceptionally positive client experiences and project results/success
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement “Word of Mouth” marketing plan to potential clients Formulate client relationship-building strategies
  • Oversee public relations efforts, corporate communications activities, and build relationships with external vendors
  • Manage daily marketing and communications-related activities:

o     Manage daily engagement on social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn

o     Write and publish press releases, company blogs, case studies, white papers, etc.

o     Use WordPress to manage and refresh content on the company’s website, overseeing all aspects of the MCP website to include development, content/strategy messaging and informational design

o     Identify and solidify additional target audiences for expanding our brand recognition

o     Develop relationships with and negotiate with media outlets to secure agreements for stories and opinion/thought leadership articles

  • Help prepare and administer the firm’s marketing budget
  • Manage day to day activity with public relations, press and agencies
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement “Word of Mouth” marketing plan to potential clients
  • Develop and administer Deltek Client Relationship Management (CRM)/marketing database to include population of client data and prospect tracking information

 

Basic Requirements, Knowledge, and Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of corporate communications and/or marketing experience at a small to mid-size professional services organization and at least 2 years’ experience managing marketing activities
  • BS/BA in communications, marketing or related field
  • Understanding and practical use of WordPress or comparable content management system, Adobe software (Acrobat Pro, Photoshop, etc.) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher)
  • Experience with social media and internet advertising
  • Exemplary communication skills, both verbal and written.  Exceptional listening skills
  • A hunger to learn and ability to flourish in a dynamic, high-growth, results-oriented environment
  • Valid Driver’s License with the ability to drive your own vehicle to office locations and client sites
