The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), a not-for-profit
professional membership association, seeks a highly qualified individual
to direct all logistical aspects of its meetings, including the annual
session and continuing education programs. Key responsibilities include
working with committees to develop programs and marketing materials,
communicating with speakers and moderators, and developing and
implementing program logistics with hotels, convention centers, meeting
sites, etc. The AAPD annual session has nearly 5000 attendees, and
eight or more CE courses ranging from 150 to 300 attendees per course
are offered each year.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of professional meeting planning
experience in the meeting planning or hospitality industry. CMP status
preferred.
