This position will manage and create all aspects of Public Relations collateral and material supporting the Honda and Acura brand PR managers, including the development of all press releases, press kits and HondaNews.com content. In this role, the Assistant Manager will support PR brand managers to determine cost efficiencies and present budget plans for related vendors (media website, press materials production and media monitoring) that achieve the overall goals for each brand. Qualifications:
· BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public

level, with experience managing a staff of PR professionals
· Exceptional understanding of automotive systems and technology
· Established media contacts and strong reputation with the automotive
press
· Possess strong working knowledge of automotive technologies,
technology trends, automotive industry, various auto manufacturers,
and key auto industry issues.
· Proficiency in Photoshop, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
· Able to credibly articulate automotive technologies, vehicle
operation and vehicle dynamics to the automotive enthusiast media.
· Extremely strong presentation skills with the ability to clearly
articulate new technologies to an audience of varying automotive
knowledge.

Duty AB on board a tanker noticed a robber outside the accommodation. He immediately retreated into the bridge and informed the Duty officer who raised the alarm. Seeing crew alertness the robber was seen escaping. On carrying out a search it was noticed that the robber had tried to enter the steering gear room but as it was locked from the inside the robber did not have access and escaped empty handed. Robbers boarded a bulk carrier at anchor using a long pole with a hook. The crew spotted them and raised alarm. On hearing this, robbers escaped on a wooden boat. All crew safe and nothing stolen. View
161-13 31.07.2013: 0200 LT: Berth No. 49, Alexandria Port,
An AB on duty noticed a robber inside the Bosun forward store. He immediately informed the Duty Officer. The store was inspected and could not find the robber. Upon checking, it was found a life raft in the store had been opened and damaged.
160-13 30.07.2013:1345 LT: Posn: 03:31N – 006:05E, Around 45nm South of Brass, Nigeria.
A gunboat claiming to be a Nigerian navy boat called a chemical tanker on VHF and asked details of vessel, cargo, last and next ports. This information was passed to the gun boat. After around 15 minutes the gun boat approached the vessel at high speed and demanded that the vessel be stopped and boarding permitted. Master informed that he would not be stopping as the area was high risk for piracy attacks. The gun boat threatened and followed the vessel for 20 minutes and then fired two shots in the air. Master immediately raised alarm over VHF and requested ships in the vicinity to relay its message to port control which was not responding to its calls. On hearing the VHF alarm the gun boat moved away.
