FOLIOfn is seeking a high-energy, aggressive, dynamic, and creative VP
Marketing Communications to help us build our consumer brand.  We have a
unique story to tell and offer products and services that represent the next
generation of investing, and are significantly superior to investing in ETFs
or mutual funds.  You will lead our efforts to craft and disseminate our
message to individual investors.  A key focus will be to utilize public and
media relations to build brand awareness and ultimately, to acquire retail
customers for our online brokerage.  Specifically, you will develop concepts
for stories and pitch those stories to the media.  Additionally, you will be
responsible for building our brand using website content, press releases,
collateral (corporate brochures and promotional communications), white
papers, podcasts, webinars, RSS feeds, e-mail messaging, and other creative
means for communicating our unique value to customers.   In addition to
handling marketing and communications for FOLIOfn, you will also handle all
public relations and communications for Proxy Governance, our proxy
research, analysis and voting subsidiary. 

The successful candidate will be a high energy, visionary as well as
tactical, marketing communications professional with 10+ years experience,
and preferably focused on the financial services sector, ideally securities
brokerages.  Passion for and knowledge of online investing is essential to
success in this role.  In addition, you should have already existing strong
contacts with the media.  You should see your role as a key player in
building the retail side of our business and achieving revenue generation. A
Bachelor's Degree is required and an MBA or Masters Degree in strongly
preferred.  Excellent writing and research skills are necessary, as well as
experience developing and overseeing PR campaigns.
